Shareholder at Hallet & Perrin

Sheryl has extensive experience working with high-net-worth individuals, fiduciaries and non-profit organizations, both in private legal practices and in financial service institutions. Her practice focuses on three primary areas: wealth preservation and wealth transfer planning, trust and estate administration, and charitable planning. Sheryl works with individuals, families, business owners, and executives to design, draft, and implement wealth transfer plans that minimize estate, gift, income, and generation-skipping transfer taxes, provide for business succession, protect family members and achieve philanthropic objectives.

Her wealth preservation experience includes the creative use of trusts, insurance, partnerships and other entities, and marital property agreements to protect assets and family members. Sheryl represents individual and corporate fiduciaries in probate, trust and estate administration matters, including representation before the IRS when appropriate. She also enjoys working with charities and assisting clients with their charitable planning, creating split interest charitable trusts, private foundations, and other non-profit entities and advising on their operation.
